What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Healing Garden Café. My customers are those who are into holistic healing.

Tell us about yourself

I am a herbalist, published author, reiki master, and certified life coach. I alchemize herbs to make tea and other balms because my life was saved by herbs. I wanted to share some healing with the world. I know what it feels like to be constantly sick mentally, emotionally, and physically. Herbs reversed that. I reversed chronic ailments that my family and I had, and I knew I was on to something. Knowing that people are healing is what motivates me every day to keep going.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is my repeat customers and clients. I have built a rapport with them. They are a part of the healing tribe, and it's the greatest reward to me. They can go elsewhere, but they tried The Healing Garden Café, and they have stayed. Their testimonials keep me going.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Building capital and marketing. It's been a challenge. But I know soon all my hard work will pay off.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Start with what you have. Make sure you get your LLC, EIN, etc. If it's your passion and your gift to this world, you cannot fail, so don't believe you will when things aren't going as planned. Keep going!
