What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are a pastry shop. Our customers are people who can taste the difference between a factory product and a homemade one.
Tell us about yourself
I was born in my parent's bakery in Reims, France. The motivation comes from repeat customers who can taste the quality of our products.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We started our business in the Washington DC, area in 1991.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
The hours. Also, you can't call in sick!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Make sure you are healthy and fit.
- Have more money than you think you need.
- Do not buy all of your equipment new.
