What's your business, and who are your customers?

The Energy Guru and my customers are usually women 25-70, more often 40-70.

Tell us about yourself

My business evolved out of my teaching. I have been teaching yoga and consciousness for 53 yrs. in many places in the world. I have had a deep spiritual practice for my entire life and have found what tools have served me and my students and clients best in the most challenging of situations. I have had many challenges in my life. Happy to elaborate yet not dwell on them.

I am motivated each day to help people have the best tool kit available plus support, so they create habits that both support and sustain them instead of being owned by habits that don't serve them.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

That I get to help people to become more conscious by creating habits that support them in becoming the amazing being they came here to embody.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

There are no hours therefor; you tend to work much longer hours. Also, no paycheck, so you get to find ways that work to support you as well as those you serve.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't lose your job till your business can support you.
  2. Take care of your health, eat well, and take breaks to exercise, breathe and meditate.
  3. Get support from a mentor who is further down the path that can keep you on track and give you great tools.
