What's your business, and who are your customers?
The Endurance Hub is an online community where I help female cyclists get stronger from the inside out so that they can continue to get stronger, fitter, and faster. I have a unique method of cueing and teaching that allows my clients to get results without wasting time.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a Pilates instructor, trainer, cyclist, and swimmer. Discovering how to strengthen my core changed my life. It made me go from an aimless gym-goer to an endurance athlete. And it has helped me stay injury free while being able to push myself. When the shutdown happened in 2020, I wanted to help people, especially women who ride, so I came up with The Endurance Hub. My clients' progress is what keeps me motivated each day to keep doing what I do.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
It's knowing that I have helped women discover the strength they never knew they had - and what that does for them in sport and life. I never tire of hearing my clients tell me that they are finally getting stronger and feeling more connected to their bodies.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Wearing many hats. You've got to be the practitioner, the visionary, and the marketer.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Know what sets you apart.
- Make sure you are passionate about what you do. Knowing your "why" makes things a lot easier when it gets challenging.
