What's your business, and who are your customers?
The DRIPBaR focuses on providing the best customer experience for IV vitamin and hydration therapy, as well as vitamin shots, red light therapy, halotherapy, and infrared therapy. Our customers are people who don't want to wait for the disease state to start taking care of their health. Our customers listen to their bodies and start to close nutritional and hydration gaps before they lead to long-term health implications.
Tell us about yourself
I am passionate about helping people, especially empowering people to take control of their own health. My husband and I noticed a gap in the greater Keller area for IV therapy providers, so we took an opportunity to love the community through this powerful modality.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Getting the doors open will be an accomplishment in itself! We've never opened a brick-and-mortar store, so the learning curve is steep!
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
No one is as vested in my business as I am, and very few understand what a challenge opening a business can be. That can feel isolating. Luckily, the community has been fantastic at loving on and encouraging us.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Do it, scared. You won't have all the info, so be prepared to learn and grow as you go. Take advantage of mentors who have tackled similar projects. The SCORE program is a fantastic, free program that can pair you with mentors in certain business areas (like hiring, marketing, or finances).
