The Chief of Staff Roundtable supports Chiefs of Staff around the world by being the definitive source for every Chief of Staff in the world through education and resources.
Tell us about yourself
5 plus years ago, I was named a Chief of Staff for the first time. In that first year, I met my Co-Founder Phillip Burns who had also just been named a Chief of Staff. We decided to start The Chief of Staff Roundtable as a networking group 4 and a half years ago. The focus of the group was to help Chiefs of Staff be the best that they could be professionally. In 2021 we decided to commit full-time to making The Chief of Staff Roundtable the definitive source for every Chief of Staff in the world. We accomplish this through our monthly global conference calls, monthly "Tools of the Trade" calls, and "Masterclasses."
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
In the past year, we have tripled our membership, launched a membership portal, and brought on major partners, which have been beneficial to our membership.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The early days and the uncertainty. Getting family and significant others on board is always a project.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Listen to folks who have done it, and develop the following: an extensive business plan, a deeply insightful competitive analysis, and a SWOT.
