What's your business, and who are your customers?

The BRIMM challenges the status quo with an innovative female-specific approach to business training. Helping more female entrepreneurs earn more money, build bigger businesses and get into positions of leadership and stay there. Through 1:1 and group coaching, speaking engagements, and my book, I share the message that women are already capable, but with the right tools, they are unstoppable too.

Tell us about yourself

After leaving a career in law, I pivoted to what truly fulfilled my purpose, which is advancing more women and female business owners on the path to success. Each day I'm motivated by the impact The BRIMM is creating and the stories my clients tell me of how their businesses and lives are transforming as they step into their genius.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I have two: starting this business, which was a huge leap from my past career. The second is growing my team. As The BRIMM grows, the impact it can have on more women brings me such joy.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Celebrating your wins. Business owners are so close to the ins and outs that it's difficult not to focus on the trials and things that don't go according to plan. I have to consistently remind myself to look at what went right and be mindful of celebrating those victories.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Be extremely clear and specific about where you are going.
Don't be afraid to fail. You will (a lot) and not because you're you, but because it's how we learn.
Work with an expert. You're not supposed to know it all, and being passionate about what you do is what started your business, but it isn't the same knowledge that will keep it growing.
