Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal and business development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Danielle Levy, Founder of The Boardroom League, located in Amesbury, MA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a business growth strategist. I work with 6 and 7-figure entrepreneurs.

Tell us about yourself

Beginning my career working in digital communications consulting, a happenstance introduction kickstarted my career2.0 as an entrepreneur. The positive impact that my clients continue to make in their own businesses motivates me each day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My business has been built on sweat equity. From full-time working mom in graduate school to full-time entrepreneurship hasn't been easy, but I was able to make the transition. My business has grown every year.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Being able to step away. It's hard to do with a phone/laptop, always within reach and always wanting to do more and not having enough time or energy.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Always be in motion. Even small actions build up over time.
  2. Ask for help when you need it. Bring in, experts. Often times they will do it faster and better than you can imagine
  3. Slow down to speed up. Don't get lost in the busy. Look at what really has to get done and spend your time there.
