What's your business, and who are your customers?
TBB is a community for women to feel empowered, healthy, and beautiful. We do this by putting on events + experiences that range from retreat getaways, fitness events, empowerment workshops, and socials. We exist in 18+ cities and have virtual options.
Tell us about yourself
I felt zero passion for working my various corporate jobs and always knew I wanted to work for myself. I just had no idea what that looked like. I worked with a life coach, and everything changed! I'm motivated by all the ins and outs of what TBB offers and the people I get to work with each day ;)
Do you have daily rituals for work / wellness / fitness / mindfulness?
Integrating the principles from the "Tips n Tricks for Decluttering" into daily rituals for work, wellness, fitness, and mindfulness can be transformative. Here's how you can apply the decluttering strategy not just to your physical space but also to these aspects of your life:
Work: Just as decluttering your physical space can lead to a more peaceful environment, organizing your work life can reduce stress and enhance productivity. Create categories for your tasks and responsibilities similar to the Marie Kondo method—urgent, important but not urgent, and so forth. Prioritize tasks that "spark joy," or in a work context, provide the most value or satisfaction. This approach encourages you to focus on what truly matters, leading to a more fulfilling workday.
Wellness: Wellness encompasses both physical and mental health. Apply the decluttering principle by evaluating your habits and routines. Keep only those that contribute positively to your wellness. This might mean reassessing your diet, exercise, sleep, and relaxation activities. Does scrolling through social media spark joy, or does it add to your stress? Simplify your routine to include activities that truly enhance your wellbeing.
Fitness: Fitness routines can also become cluttered and ineffective. Assess your fitness regimen by categorizing your exercises into those that you enjoy and those that feel like a chore. Prioritize activities that spark joy, as you're more likely to stick with them in the long run. This personalized approach to fitness not only makes your routine more enjoyable but also more sustainable.
Mindfulness: Mindfulness is about being present and fully engaging with the moment. Declutter your mind by setting aside dedicated time for mindfulness practices that bring you joy, whether it's meditation, journaling, or simply sitting quietly with a cup of tea. Eliminate or reduce exposure to distractions and stressors that don't serve your mental health, much like you would discard items that don't spark joy in your home.
Incorporating the decluttering philosophy into these aspects of your life encourages a holistic approach to living more intentionally and joyfully. Just as decluttering your space can transform your physical environment, applying these principles to work, wellness, fitness, and mindfulness can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. Appreciate the benefits of a decluttered lifestyle—not only in terms of reduced physical clutter but also in the clarity and peace it brings to every aspect of your life.
