What's your business, and who are your customers?
We provide online postpartum recovery courses helping new mums recover from birth. Our special is C-section scar massage and recovery.
Tell us about yourself
We are Hannah and Emma, a C-section scar massage specialist and women's health Physiotherapist. We came together to create The 360 Mama over our shared love of supporting women to recover from birth but also in response to the lack of support and help that is available as standard. We are passionate about getting women the information they deserve to fully heal from birth.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Probably growing our Tiktok following to 160k in 8 months. It's enabled us to reach so many more women.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
We both actually run our own individual businesses and clinics as well as The 360 Mama, so it's definitely juggling those, as well as each having a young family. When you're starting up a new business, you just don't have the funds to outsource many jobs, so you just have to make time for everything.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Ask for help from anyone and everyone, network, connect, and share.
- Perseverance you've got to just keep plugging away, and the sales will come; the same goes for building a social media following, commitment is key.
- Do outsource jobs soon as you financially can. You can't do everything.
