What's your business, and who are your customers?
I'm a natural wine producer; my customers are natural wine lovers!
Tell us about yourself
Since I was young, I have wanted a passionate career and found that in wine. I started my career as a research scientist and, after ten years, switched to the wine industry. After three years of working with an urban winery, I started my own brand. 2023 will be my 15th harvest! Tessier wine is distributed in a growing amount of states with a large presence in Los Angeles and SF Bay Area.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
That I am still in business after the pandemic! Tessier is continuing to grow little by little.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Financial stressors while trying to grow and staying in business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Be flexible; organic growth takes time, and love what you do!
