What's your business, and who are your customers?

We provide outpatient mental health services to individuals around the country. What sets us apart is our RESPECT for patients - we respect them as individuals by showing them they are important, responding to them quickly, and reducing redundancy in the intake process.

Tell us about yourself

I started this private practice after feeling that I could change the normal "standard" that patients sadly become accustomed to. I want them to realize that finding care is not as difficult as it seems.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Receiving endless positive feedback about how we listen, are non-judgmental, provide excellent care, and are very responsive.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

It's becoming more widely accepted for employees to job hop to grow their careers and increase their salary, but it is also very disruptive to patient care.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Learn to enjoy the process of being a small business owner.
  2. Be open-minded to the business evolving to something you didn't originally expect.
  3. Be creative in ways to engage with your customers.
