Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in language education but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Ryan Viguerie, Founder of Teacher Creature, located in Prague, Czech Republic.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

English teachers find students on my site without going through the language agencies.

Tell us about yourself

I used to teach for the language agencies in Prague. They were charging companies a huge price but paying their teachers very little. So I started the site for myself as a way to get around them.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Getting paid for work I did years ago.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

The biggest challenge for running a website and not being a programmer is keeping development costs down and dealing with customers when things break.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Do something online. Focus on finding a group of people you can help, whom you can reach for free or at a low cost, and who have money, not on your logo or looking cool. Study direct response marketing.
