Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in personal development but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Roxanne Lewis, Co-Founder of Tara and Roxanne, LLC., located in Snohomish, WA, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are Stress Elimination Coaches. We serve our clients by offering in-depth online courses to members as well as personalized private coaching and by providing free online strategies, coping techniques, and powerful action steps for anyone in need. Our clients are individuals who are ready to quiet their mental noise, feel good about their choices, and finally get excited about their lives.

Tell us about yourself

We have both experienced our own individual challenges and dark times in life. After many years of seeking relief and trying everything available, we both are finally in a place where we are empowered and at peace. Now, we witness so many people trapped by the stress we have been fortunate enough to eliminate, so our motivation is to offer a clear, direct path to internal peace and self-empowerment, utilizing our hard-earned strategies. When you calm your mind, you can finally enjoy your life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our greatest achievement is, and always will be, simply getting started and maintaining our commitment to provide valuable, quality information at least once per week for anyone who needs to hear it.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest of this business is questioning whether we're providing the most valuable, relatable information so that we can help as many people reduce their stress as possible. We are fortunate in that we have a wonderful partnership, so we are able to redirect and support each other's visions.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. START. You can't help anyone if you don't just get started.
  2. Be flexible and fluid, and be open to changing and adapting as your business requires.
  3. Believe and commit to your vision and the impact you know you are destined to make in the world. You won't always want to show up, but your commitment will make sure you do.
