What's your business, and who are your customers?

Tamara Hawk is a business that incorporates individual psychic and medium readings, group and private energy healing sessions, personalized transformation teaching training, and coaching. It's sort of an one-on-one-ascension-expansion-one-stop-shop. Although I am based in Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada, and do in-person Readings, Coaching-Mentoring, and Energy Healing. I offer my services worldwide via telephone and Zoom. Anyone who is ready to take responsibility for their creations and learn what they can do to get to where they want to be so that they can have the life they want are my target clients. Many of my clients are empaths or lightworkers, even if they don't yet know it. My clients come to me because they know they are creators of their reality. They want to work with me because they need/want guidance and support in understanding where they are energetically and their blocks or attachments. And to learn how to navigate the 3D and 5D worlds better, they may continue to release, grow, expand and ascend with greater ease and consciousness.

Tell us about yourself

I was born a psychic medium into a very psychic Westcoast Canadian family. I am an empath, a mother, a widow, a nature- and animal- lover, and have most of the psychic clairs - clairvoyant, clairsentient, claircognizant, clairaudient, clairgustant. I have experienced seeing and engaging with dead people since I was a little girl. When I was between 3 and 6 years old, I played with Casper, Jake, and Sam with my three spirit friends. I was too young to know that not everyone else could see them. When I was about 15, one of my aunts asked me to do a reading for her. Coming from a psychic family, I think she wanted to test my psychic-ness - I've been doing readings since. In my early twenties, I hung out at the local pub with my friends and did readings for whoever asked me. It wasn't until I was in my thirties that I started my Tamara Hawk brand and began officially doing readings for people. What inspires me to do what I do? That's easy! It's my calling to share the Love, Light, and empowering perspectives with others. I do what I do to help inspire others to shine their light brightly and aid in the planet's ascension. To consciously raise the planet's vibration by spreading ore Peace and Love all around. I write, channel, and teach a lot about that.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Allowing myself to expand and refine my focus over the years. It may sound cheesy, but it can be easy to paint yourself into a corner with any type of niche business. For years, my main focus was on providing Readings. While I still offer psychic and medium readings, I have shifted greater focus onto my Energy Healing (both private and group sessions) my channeling and lightworker training work (teaching, coaching, and mentoring) in the last few years. Allowing myself to shift and expand has opened up space for opportunities for my business:

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Self-promotion. Especially in my line of work. There are still a lot of misconceptions about psychics, mediums, and energy workers. So, it can feel tricky to tell certain people what I do.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Love - what you do and who you do it for.
  2. Learn - continuously expand your industry knowledge.
  3. Live - Live what you do - don't just talk the talk, walk the talk
