Taking care of your company's most urgent issues - Yuloff Creative
Interested in starting your entrepreneurial journey in development, but not sure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Sharyn and Hank Yuloff, co-founders of Yuloff Creative, based in Sedona, Arizona, USA.
Tell us all about your business...
Small business owners who are already awesome at what they do, yet feel they are being out marketed by their competitors
What's your background and motivation to grow as a solopreneur?
It was Thanksgiving Dinner. Hank had a challenge with work, and his mom decided it was time for him to start his own business. So really, his mom made him... Sharyn joined 12 years ago. Our motivation is to help every small business owner grow enough to hire at least one other person so that together we can rebuild the middle class and local micro-economy.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We hit our financial retirement goal while helping thousands of small business owners hit theirs.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a solopreneur?
You'll work harder and longer than you did for anyone else, and you'll enjoy it more too!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run or grow a small business today?
Identify your ideal client, craft a message that attracts more of them, use that message consistently.
If there was one thing you could do repeatedly to help grow your business, what would it be?
We would do more webinars for SCORE nationally.
What are some of the things you put in place to maintain a healthy work/life balance and to keep it all together?
Understand that there's no such thing. Today might be out of balance towards work, and tomorrow or next week might be out of balance towards family.
