What's your business, and who are your customers?

I offer a variety of web design services to businesses around the US.

Tell us about yourself

I have been in business for over 10 years. I have a bachelors in computer science with a specialty in web design. I had no idea I would love web design or development as much as I did when I started in 2011. It started out as attempting to start a new hobby and learn something new. I soon learned that you are never done learning when it comes to the web. My motivation comes from my passion for learning something new each day.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being a business owner itself is a major accomplishment. I get to do what most want, and that's work from home on my terms.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is that you can't only manage the clients. You have to manage the back end of the business and the front end at the same time.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Research your industry well.
Don't wait to begin marketing; begin before you open.
Don't be afraid to set boundaries with clients or customers.
