What's your business, and who are your customers?
I am a business expert, consultant, and adviser to a wide range of clients within the construction and professional services industries across the globe.
I work with my clients to increase their business's profitability, performance and value so that it can thrive with or without them and grow into a highly sellable asset for the day that they are ready to sell.

I have over 35 years of experience as a successful multi-business entrepreneur with expertise in business, marketing, and accounting. I love empowering business owners with the tools and knowledge they need to achieve their dreams and drive economic growth in their local communities and across the world.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
To help my clients successfully pivot their businesses during the pandemic and be able not just to survive but thrive.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Learning to delegate. It is hard to let go and trust others, but for a business to thrive and grow - the owner cannot be at the hub of all the activities. Because when they are the hub, the business is running them instead of them running the business. Overall it makes the company less productive and profitable and creates burnout and overwhelm for the owner.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Take the time to learn how to understand your financial statements and keep good records. Have a clear understanding of how you are different from your competition and create a brand that speaks clearly and directly to your ideal target market. Stay in your genius zone and stop trying to do things you're not good at, thinking you are saving money. Hiring experts to do those tasks will save you time and money.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Embrace change and be open to new ideas. This world is throwing challenges out to business owners like never before, and the more you can turn obstacles into opportunity, the more successful and happy you will be.
