What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am a professional keynote speaker, published author, and corporate performance coach. My clients include leaders, executives, and sales professionals from a variety of industries.

Tell us about yourself

I believe that 'A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.' While my title is keynote speaker, author, and coach, I am in the business of 'lighting candles' and providing the inspiration and actionable strategies needed to maximize individual and organizational performance.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I'm proud of the fact that I've been a self-employed, small business owner since 1999.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Being able to say 'no' - as I have a history of being a people pleaser!

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Know WHAT problem you solve.
  2. Know WHO you solve it for.
  3. Know WHY you are uniquely positioned to solve it.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

The foundation of my belief system is that 'The best never get bored with the basics.' If you want to be good in ANY area of life, you must work towards mastery of the fundamentals during the Unseen Hours.
