What's your business, and who are your customers?
I own and operate a Hot Yoga studio. Offering original hot yoga to my local dedicated yoga students.
Tell us about yourself
I’ve practiced this type of yoga since 2004 and went to teacher training in 2012. This specific style of yoga has been grounding, healing, and life-changing to me throughout my life. It is my passion and purpose to share it with others, so when I had an opportunity in 2017 to open a business offering it, I did it.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is creating a community where people, wherever they are in life, can come heal themselves from the inside out and feel like they belong, not only to this community but also to a bigger community that spans all over the globe.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner is holding the space for people to be themselves but also upholding boundaries for myself and my community. Being responsible and accountable for all that happens inside our space is challenging.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
