What's your business, and who are your customers?
My brand, Splendid Yoga, works with healers like yoga teachers, doctors, therapists, Reiki masters, and sound healers to help them create multiple income streams doing work that they love that saves the world.
Tell us about yourself
I was teaching yoga part-time and working in the corporate world full-time when a fortuitous layoff led to me building up my yoga teaching income to surpass my corporate income. I love the creativity that comes from growing a business, from content creation to online courses to helping solve my clients’ problems with getting trapped in overwhelm while they make their dreams come true.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Building my business so that I can run it from my phone from anywhere in the world because I LOVE to travel.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The constant second guessing if what I’m doing is “correct.” I have to trust myself deeply, especially when doing work that upsets the status quo.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
