What's your business, and who are your customers?

Soul To Soul Yoga provides occupational therapy, 1:1 yoga therapy, group yoga instruction, Sibshops, as well as education and consulting. Our customers range from small children, children with disabilities and their families, seniors, and organizations wanted wellness for their clients or staff.

Tell us about yourself

I took Yoga For The Special child in 2009. I tried this method in a variety of settings while continuing yoga training. When I saw progress, I knew that I could serve people and started my own business. I stay motivated by success stories from my clients.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Growth. We started as a mobile business, a few hours a week, to having employees and contractors now.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Life. Sometimes things happen, and business is not the priority. I have an older brother with autism, and I am his legal guardian. I took care of my father before he passed away. Life happens.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Find a coach, mentor, or whatever you want to call it to help you. You don't know what you don't know.
  2. Just start. Nothing will ever be perfect; if you wait for perfection, nothing will happen.
  3. Keep learning and stay curious.
