What's your business, and who are your customers?

I provide life coaching and Hypnotherapy services, as well as Reiki, EFT, NLP, and intuitive healing for stress, trauma, habit change, and for those going through transition or transformation. I help people get unstuck, find their purpose, embrace change, and pursue their passions. I am also an author, speaker, and retreat facilitator.

Tell us about yourself

I initially went to school for psychology and counseling, but life took a turn, and I went in another direction with a long career in entrepreneurship and sales & marketing. In 2013, I decided to change direction and find my passion and what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I chose to get certified in life coaching and Hypnotherapy, adding other modalities as I progressed. It is rewarding to be able to help people when everything else has failed and see them achieving their goals and dreams.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

I think publishing my first book and accompanying journal last year was probably my biggest accomplishment. The book is called "Living in Joyful Resilience: A Roadmap for Navigating Life's Ups & Downs," and the journal is "Simple Soul Thoughts: Collecting Moments of Joy."

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Staying focused and keeping up with this fast-changing world.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Don't be intimidated by the task. If you have a good idea, go for it.
  2. Make a plan and take action to bring it to reality step by step.
  3. Always remember "why" you want to go into and be in business.
