Tell us about yourself

Perfecting this "half-sock" has been a long time in the making... As a kid, we would cut the end off of an old pair of socks and wrap that over an existing sock to prevent creases in nice kicks. This is the origin of SockTips. While the focus has shifted to athletic and podiatric applications, SockTips still work well to reduce creases! I'm a sneaker enthusiast and always wear SockTips. With the above aspects taken together, I'm confident SockTips can work for you.

Beyond the product itself, SockTips are founded on the connectivity of life, the paths that cross, and the experiences gained that build and shaped our character. SockTips are a manifestation of vision, drive, perseverance, fortitude, faith, and passion. What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Breaking through doors. Each step along the journey has been connected to the next. I've found that "no's" can be turned to "yes's" with the right perspective, attitude, and drive. The hustle never stops!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Uncertainty is about everything, though it can be mitigated with proper risk management. Especially early on, knowing I own this and I'm growing it...while out selling products and maintaining a successful image (success breeds success) was challenging, though the mogul mindset allows you to see it through.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Prepare.
Be realistic.
Understand it will take time.
