What's your business, and who are your customers?
SMART VAs is a one-stop virtual assistant agency for busy entrepreneurs who needs to outsource a variety of services they need for their business. We cater to small to medium entrepreneurs across the US, Canada, and the UK to help them do the overwhelming day-to-day tasks so they can focus on bigger priorities for their business.
Tell us about yourself
I am a Filipina based in Ohio. I am the Founder and CEO of Smart VAs and the host of The Master Delegator Podcast, where I teach entrepreneurs and leaders to grow their businesses by delegating. As a multi-skilled leader, I humbly worked my way from being a freelance virtual assistant and digital marketer to becoming an entrepreneur. I am passionate about helping stressed and overwhelmed business owners get their time, freedom, and life back while running a successful business.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I built and trained a team based in the Philippines to help business owners scale their businesses while living a freedom-filled lifestyle. I lead more than 70+ team members and have served more than 200 businesses in the US together with my team since 2020. I grew my business from $0 to now close to 7-figure revenue and desire to help business owners achieve their business goals.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the hardest things I encountered while scaling my business was mastering the art of delegation and being the actual CEO and leader of my business. It is easier to just do everything yourself when you think you can than train and let your team members handle your tasks. Learning how to let go of your tasks so you can focus on bigger responsibilities was a huge challenge before.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
