What's your business, and who are your customers?
Six Degrees Society is a women's focused IRL and Virtual networking organization that handpicks and curates who you meet while networking. My customers are entrepreneurially spirited individuals who identify as founders, side hustlers, and entrepreneurial curious.
Tell us about yourself
As a self-proclaimed "people collector," it's in my DNA to connect all the wonderful humans I know and have met. It was with this desire in mind that Six Degrees Society was born-- an actual destination to connect people through commonality and to grow personally and professionally together. I'm motivated to make the world a smaller place and an easier place to connect with intention.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Making it all these years and having people tell me, "they've heard of Six Degrees Society." Also, being featured and recognized in publications like Forbes, Create & Cultivate, and Girl Boss.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Remembering that you're not going to be for everyone.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Give yourself grace.
- Hire a coach ASAP.
- Know your numbers inside and out.
