A Lifestyle Services Company - Simply Yours Concierge

Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Kyle Morse, owner of Simply Yours Concierge, located in South Brunswick, NJ, USA.

What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm Kyle Morse, the owner of Simply Yours Concierge. My company was founded in 2015. We provide dog walking and pet sitting services to the community in New Jersey and Philadelphia. My customers are residents of the community who either travel or work and need our help looking after their pet(s).

Simply Yours Concierge was born from the desire to help others. Providing impeccable pet care services to the community is our goal, and our customer service is unparalleled. Our team of professional pet sitters is based in New Jersey and Philadelphia. We strive to offer the most immaculate and highest quality pet care services available to our clients.

Our goal is to efficiently and thoughtfully help our clients achieve a more positive work/life balance with dog walking, dog sitting, pet sitting, and cat sitting services, along with errands. We have chosen to offer our professional pet care services to the community to help benefit our clients and their pets.

  • We help our clients reduce their high energy levels by playing with them and walking them
  • We provide detailed and focused attention on the well-being of their pet(s) while they're out of the home
  • Ease burdens at home by caring for pet(s) while they're working
  • Provide peace of mind knowing their loved furry friend is well taken care of

We are a current and proud member of two nationwide professional pet sitting organizations - the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS), as well as Pet Sitters International (PSI). We are fully insured and bonded, as well as registered with the State of New Jersey as a limited liability company (LLC).

Tell us about yourself

With over 20 years of experience providing pet care for family and friends and now six years of professional experience with our clients, looking after pets is a cherished part of my life. I take tremendous pride and interest in my clients and their experience with Simply Yours Concierge. Following graduation from Rutgers in May of 2014, I pursued other career paths, but the love of animals and business led me to start up Simply Yours Concierge in November 2015.

My motivation every day comes from my desire to provide impeccable services for our clients. I love seeing them come home from work or on a trip happy that their pets were taken care of and treated with love.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is making an impact on the community. Effecting change in the minds of pet owners when it comes to reliable, efficient, and friendly pet care services.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things about being a business owner is being available. There are many things that come up throughout the course of the day that pulls my attention in different directions. I strive to be as efficient and present as possible for all of my clients. And the new ones too.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be patient. Don't give up. Keep moving forward.
  2. Work on a budget. Don't spend crazily. Only spend on what is minimally vital to start the business.
  3. Delegate. Delegate. Delegate. The only way to exponentially grow is to delegate tasks to other staff.
