I aspire to inspire before I expire. I worked at Disney Institute and decided that it was time to create my own path.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Consistency in creating a customer experience. Reinventing and staying relevant after 20 years. In the words of my mentor Dr. Willie Jolley, “a setback is a setup for a comeback.”

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. What problem can you solve and add value?
  2. Don’t chase money. Be brilliant at what you do, and the money will chase you.
  3. As you get ahead, help someone else come from behind. Give a hand-up instead of a handout.
