Unmistakable Style - Silver Emotions
Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in jewelry but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Rosana Vargas, CEO of Silver Emotions INC., located in Miami, FL, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are silver emotions, and that is exactly our intention. Under the ROX950 brand, we want whoever visits our space (whether physical or virtual) www.rox950.com to experience the emotions that are evident in each of our warm, seductive designs. And charged with the emotion provided by the hands that create them.
Tell us about yourself
Creating is in our essence; we are made in the image and likeness of God, we have the ability to manifest everything we are capable of imagining; it is divine law, and it makes me very happy to be able to carry it out. I discovered myself between pliers, hammers, and torches while I was studying at the University (Civil Engineering) and definitely the love of hammering and seeing a ring take shape and be lovingly received by my few but beautiful clients at that early stage. 20 years ago. It made me understand that I was born for this. 9 years later, together with my husband and sister (student and excellent goldsmith too), we created the ROX950 brand. I came to live in the USA, and we decided to start again, and thus Silver Emotions INC was born.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
In the few months that the Company was created in the USA, I confirm that perseverance and not giving up, accompanied by my faith and the team of talented people who accompany me, is undoubtedly the force that moves me, the love for my job, the desire immense to achieve the dream of seeing ROX become one of the brands in the fashion sector among the giants in the sector, that is my goal. That everyone can love what we do and reach them not only as a luxury but also with an emotional charge that catches them, and they come to love their ROX950 garments. And I think I missed the question (hahaha), sorry!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
They will be full of moments in which you will be very, very happy; you will feel that you have done the right thing, and you will receive signs that you have done well. But not everything is rosy. You will live long sleepless nights at times when you have to make a complicated decision. It will hurt to think at times that you can't take it anymore, but if you really want something with all your being, nothing can be against you. In my case, in stages, there have been financial problems that affect stability and the relationship with suppliers. Thank God we have won every battle.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Never say negative phrases that stop your dreams; you are what you declare. It seems difficult to always be positive, but it is my advice, even at the moment when it seems that there is no opportunity, you can if you trust and declare that it will be so and even better than it is so. And that is the energy that we must always give to our team.
- Expectations, never lose the surprise effect for your team, your clients, and even your suppliers. That they are always on the lookout, that will help them to be open to receiving new ideas and proposals.
- "People meet with those who share interests and tastes," that has to do with the fact that we like to belong, to belong to something with which we identify, allow those who follow you to be part of what you do, show them how you do it, offer them tips, create clubs, or "PLUS" "VIP" clients but make them feel part of it.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Even if you are a business owner and manage to be the best leader, create Habits, at least one, but a life free of habits will never be a successful life. God bless you. A good habit can be to give ROX950 at every special moment; we will not disappoint you.
