What's your business, and who are your customers?

My business is multifaceted, and I have two main focuses as of right now (trust me, there are more to come in the future ;) One is on helping other heart-centered, purpose-driven individuals build and scale their businesses as well as recalibrate their health and nervous systems to become more stable, centered and peaceful as they grow and expand.

The other is helping individuals who want to understand and heal the root causes of their health issues by using techniques I learned from my grandmother (a renowned energy healer). So if someone is having gut health issues, nervous system issues, depression, anxiety, issues with intimacy, trouble reaching their goals, etc., we get to the root energetic cause. I work mostly with coaches, consultants, teachers, healers, therapists, empaths, and multi-passionate creatives.

Tell us about yourself

I started off as an artist and photographer (I started a successful portrait and wedding photography studio, which I still own today). Always seeking deeper meaning through art but not really finding it there; then I had a spiritual awakening and realized there was so much I was missing and needed to learn. That’s when I really started studying energy healing, spirituality, coaching, and psychology. I studied with many masters, including my grandmother Madeline Downey Drabkowski.

I started helping others with finding their purpose and connecting to spirituality. And at the same time was moving into healing work - helping others heal on a root, energetic level. This eventually led to me having people asking more for business help. And realizing if I could combine business advising, deeper self-development, and energetic work, this process would be like a miracle growth for someone’s soul and business.

What motivates me to do what I do is that I love it! It’s natural for me to hold space, solve problems, and be what people like to call an “energy detective.” I love being able to support others, have breakthroughs, work towards their dreams, and, most importantly, feel whole and peaceful inside. This work never ceases to amaze me or open my heart.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Being able to work for myself full time and work remotely doing work that I know is helping others and helping create leaders who have an interest in healing some large problems we have in this world.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

It’s all on you at the end of the day; there’s no PTO or someone else giving you a list to do, so you have to be committed to the vision and keep renewing that commitment.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Do your IKIGAI multiple times and have people that know you review it.
Do your market research. What type and how you do it will depend on your niche and business.
Honestly, even if I weren’t a coach, I would say this one is just so valuable... Invest in a coach or group to help you because, honestly, even if you feel like you have the strategy down pat, you will need support while you navigate the always individually unique journey of starting your own business - there will be doubt, frustration, lack of clarity, emotions, limiting beliefs and you will need someone there to hold the light as you walk the path.
