What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are in the business of creating mindset change which leads to happiness with candles, melters, and fragrances. Our customers are men and women who desire calm, fun, adventure, and mystery and enjoy escaping into what they love.

Tell us about yourself

Our business started because a friend needed something, and I could create it for them. This fun boyfriend of mine was enjoying looking up and researching information, and together we created a product that helped. My motivation comes forth in my morning meditations. I connect with the fun of our employees, I connect with the fragrance, and I connect with our customers. There's a challenge that exists, and being able to check those challenges off and count our lessons for the day is what brings me home smiling and feeling good.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Changing my mindset from a stance of "we need to survive" to a knowledge of "we got this, and if we keep going and take chances, fun times are ahead."

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the hardest things I've experienced as a business owner is stepping back and allowing things to carry forward without me and trusting it will go smoothly.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

1. Meditate.
2. Allow others to come in and help you. Teach them. Train them. Trust them.
3. Act when you have thought of the idea. Stop mulling over it and share it with others so they can be a part of the fun and success, and your idea will come to fruition with surprisingly little effort compared to you doing it alone.
