Tell us about yourself
I started the brand development firm after having a boutique in 2005. My goal was to provide my clients with the look they needed to get the contracts, speaking engagements, etc., they wanted. After a year of case studies, I realized my undercharged service was worth way more. Took some time off to develop my program while still working at my boutique, and SSA was born. My motivation comes from knowing I’m helping women like me create sustainable brands and become financially self-sufficient via entrepreneurship.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
There are so many. Still being in business 17 years later. Being able to be at peace with the life I live. Spending time with my family, not working myself to death. Having choices on how high I can go without limitations.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Separating yourself. In order to grow, you’ll have to delegate and hire. Your business should be able to run without you, or you’ll feel like the business is running you. Set those things up first!
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Find a way to get paid to follow your passion & purpose. Have an open mindset when learning. Surround yourself with positive, successful entrepreneurs.

Stay Consistent, and don’t give up! I’m loving proof; with the drive, structure, and proper guidance, you can go as far as you want to!
