Tell us about yourself

When a leader "Gets it," I'm over the moon! From an early age, I knew there was magic in helping, teaching, and coaching intelligent and growth-minded people. From humble beginnings teaching finishing, fashion, and commercial skills to now working with top-level leaders, this journey is exhilarating.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Leading an accountability Mastermind Monday through Friday at 5:15 AM for the last 15 years with two professionals there when it started, and still gaining value from it.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Wearing many hats and juggling between them. When I can do more of my best thinking and work without worry, it's the ultimate sweet spot. The good news is there are people with the right talents to join the team.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Invest in your own talents and growth. Many leaders put this off, and it hurts them. I have invested in my own skill-building continuously, and it brings added value to my clients.
  2. Hire well. When you have a need, be very clear on your criteria and expectations. If you hire well, it frees you up to do your best work.
  3. Love it or leave it. Life is about living and laughing, and loving. When you love what you do, it's the best way to spend your life, especially if you love your clients. The reach you have is far wider than you can imagine.
