What's your business, and who are your customers?

I am in the business of Virtual Assisting and Visual Branding. I also have a clothing line called Lynette's Closet. My clients are businesses and people ages 17-29.

Tell us about yourself

As an aspiring stylist, I went to FIDM in Los Angeles. In the middle of my Associate's degree, I realized there was so much I could do in my field. Yet, my network is across the country, and I am in L.A. There, virtual assisting came about, and upon my arrival back home to N.Y., I continued to expand.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Seeing my clients' relief once I told them I got it. As well as the expansion I am doing with my non-profit org.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Finances are the hardest for me.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Know your audience.
It is okay to change your business.
Accept help when offered.
