What's your business, and who are your customers?

I offer health & mindset coaching with the goal of moving my clients from overwhelmed, fatigued, and in pain to clarity & focus with energy to be able to allow life to be lived fully and in harmony.

Tell us about yourself

I am a board-certified neurologist who struggled with sleep issues, then discovered Ayurveda and NLP. I now offer all of these tools in my coaching allowing clients to reprogram their brains to live life to the fullest.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Owning a successful integrative center for over a decade and appearing multiple times on national TV.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Challenges with finding a team that can stay healthy and committed. It does take effort to balance all of life's demands- from family to work to marriage- yet it can be done. It can be challenging to find team members who are capable of doing the same as my experience.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Create a network, a team, who can support you. An excellent accountant/bookkeeper, staff, and attorney who has your back at all times.
  2. Be responsible for all outcomes. Do not get into the blame game. If something continues to happen in your business, ask yourself how you are allowing this challenge to occur.
  3. Do something you truly love. In times when money may not be flowing or challenges come in, it is this love of your work which will keep you going.
