What's your business, and who are your customers?
I’m a High-Performance Published Online Fitness & Lifestyle Coach who empowers busy professionals to step into success through my 1-on-1 fitness training & lifestyle coaching. I specialize in helping people adopt healthy habits physically and mentally. My training and coaching sessions are specifically tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus not just on losing weight but on how to live a healthier lifestyle.
Tell us about yourself
Six years ago, I started my blog “Bloom by Shaniece” to share self-development, health, and fitness tips for those looking for a little guidance. At the time, my mission was to share content that would not only help women grow mentally but allow them to push themselves physically and feel more inspired to get out of their comfort zones. The more posts I made, the more emails I received asking for my advice, which brought me so much fulfillment. I love being able to help people; it is genuinely one of my passions. Fast forward to today, after the successful launch of my blog Bloombyshaniece.com, I expanded Bloom by offering one-on-one fitness and lifestyle coaching services specifically tailored to each client’s needs. Bloom Fitness Academy has provided me the platform to reach a broader audience and share tips for an overall healthier, more productive lifestyle for those looking for guidance.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment so far is becoming a High-Performance Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine. I get to help people globally!
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
In business, there will always be obstacles. The difference is how you react and deal with it. Do your best to view obstacles as an opportunity to learn and cultivate. The growth mindset is the only thing that’s going to keep you in the game. My go-to quote when I need a reminder: Success is 80% psychology and 20% mechanics. —Tony Robbins
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
Be patient, stay consistent, stay disciplined, and spend most of your time with up-lifters and motivators. Save yourself some time and frustration, and hire a coach. Don’t be afraid to invest in yourself. It pays the best interest.
