What's your business, and who are your customers?

We grow wine grapes, make wine and create fantabulous wine experiences at our winery and in the vineyard. People who love no-nonsense bold red wines love us. We have a welcoming vibe in our tasting room and lots of outdoor patio seating overlooking the vines. Our virtual wine game is on point. Our wine club is fun and growing. And we are just getting started.

Tell us about yourself

Greg is from Pasco, and I am from South Carolina. We both lived in Southern California when we met, married, and had our son Jayden. We wanted to move closer to family in either South Carolina or Washington. With a flip of a coin, the coin toss determined we would relocate to Washington. We both agreed when we moved. We wanted to create a business that would give them goosebumps. With a little research and cheerleading from friends, we decided to go into wine, opening their tasting room in 2013 with 650 cases of wine. Today, Frichette is a 2000 case winery hosting events for wine club members and guests from all over the world. When not in the winery, We are in the community serving on boards, mentoring, and volunteering with local non-profits.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

We started with 5 acres and recently acquired 15 acres more in the famed Red Mountain AVA. This is new news just being announced!

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
