What's your business, and who are your customers?
We are led by an experienced managing team of internet marketing veterans that founded the company on the principle of providing outstanding online digital marketing services that deliver real results for our clients. Tell us about yourself
I am the founder and project manager of SERP Matrix LLC, a top digital marketing agency in Houston with a demonstrated history of working in the "TOP 20" local niche markets. I am skilled in Digital Strategy, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Marketing Management, Business Planning, and Sales. I am a strong media and communication professional with an Associate of Science (A.S.) focused on Recording Arts Technology/Technician from Los Angeles Recording School, and I have 25+ years of marketing experience. I use my knowledge and experience with digital marketing to deliver competitive PPC, SEO, and social media strategies to companies of all sizes, including local businesses, startups, and small to medium-sized businesses.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I am motivated to carve out a strong identity for SERP Matrix. Thus far, we garnered the honors from Expertise.com of being in the top 20 for Best Digital Marketing Agencies in Houston in 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 and plan to continue to be among the best.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
In business, timing is everything. There comes the point when you have to expand, build teams, and make important plays to get to the next level. This creates a lot of stress for me. One false move can put you out of business, but one right move can propel you forward. For me, learning to scale at the right time is the hardest thing that comes with being a business owner.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Start with a simple business plan and grow it as needed.
- Focus on something you have a passion for.
