What's your business, and who are your customers?
The main activity is Commercial Real Estate Investment, and my clients are people who do not have time or knowledge to invest in real estate and get a passive income.
Tell us about yourself
I started working in the real estate industry 25+ years ago in my home country Bolivia, and I moved to Canada in 2010 to the city of Moncton, NB. Three years ago, I moved to Toronto to grow my business. My motivation is that we are providing an opportunity, a chance for people to invest in commercial real estate projects that would otherwise be out of reach.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
We have diversified the business lines; we started with real estate investment, and now we have branches in Bolivia and Colombia as property managers also, and the third line is business development, helping small companies to grow.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
In general, is that everything relays on the owner's shoulders, but it is rewarding to see the growth of your business when you are passionate about it.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Be passionate about your business.
- Do not hear friends and family pieces of advice about your business. Just listen to advice or opinions from people in the industry.
- The only person that has to trust in you is YOU; that is enough to be successful.
