What's your business, and who are your customers?

I'm a career and leadership development coach. I work with mid-career professionals who are ready to make a career change and those who are trying to break free from toxic work environments.

Tell us about yourself

I have always been a natural mentor and coach. For 10+ years, I was the go-to among family, friends, and colleagues for career advice. I love seeing people reach their professional goals and go after dreams that they've always had. My clients motivate me each and every day! Knowing that I'm touching and impacting lives means the world to me!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My clients' successes are my biggest accomplishment. Also, contributing to a variety of media outlets on toxic workplaces, leadership practices, job search strategy, and career advocacy.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Living in the moment and appreciating where you currently are can be a challenge. Feeling like you're chasing the next goal or accomplishment can become difficult and stressful.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Be patient with yourself.
  2. Enjoy the journey, don't rush the process.
  3. Build a business based on what you genuinely love... everything else will fall into place.
