What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a home decor subscription service for holiday and seasonal decor. We curate a box of home decor designed around the season and ship it right to your door.

Tell us about yourself

I started this subscription box as a way to make seasonal decorating exciting and effortless. We met friends who were frustrated with pairing decor items from stores. They needed a solution to decorating for the holidays, and a subscription service was born!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Our best accomplishment has been the launch of our box! After spending 14 months researching, designing, and developing our concept, we created a curated box of monthly home decor. We are looking forward to continuing to grow and celebrate the seasons with our decor family. It's been a great time serving our consumers and our community.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Hands down, time management. As a business owner, my brain is constantly thinking about new things that our subscribers would enjoy. Sometimes I have to remind myself to give myself a break and not try to work 24/7.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Stay organized. This has been key in facilitating all the pieces of our business.
  2. Stay flexible. We know that not everything will go exactly as planned. Flexibility has allowed us to pivot if an item is out of stock or something needs to change.
  3. Maintain a personal touch. We include personal messages of gratitude to our subscribers to let them know how appreciative we truly are.
