What's your business, and who are your customers?
SayNoToFloozies is a business of everything creative. We offer merch, custom keepsakes, and personalized items from tumblers, glasses, keychains, and more. Our customers are mainly people who are looking to add personalization to their event or even for gifts to loved ones.
Tell us about yourself
I first started crafting back in my early childhood and did it off and on for years leading into my adulthood. Before I even realized I could turn my love for arts and crafts into a business, I would create things by inspo & gain so much joy behind it. As the pandemic came about, I started seeing more entrepreneurs, especially people of color, which inspired me to support them & start my own business. Creating motivates me, as well as the joy people have after a finished order. Being able to be a staple in someone's memory with something small as a wedding sign or keychain is undeniably a blessing.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment is still being in business and learning more each day. I have been blessed to help so many people along the way with their business as well, something I am very proud of.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
The hardest thing for me at first was pricing, keeping up with business posting outside my personal posting, and turning down some customers. Not all business is good business.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
DO IT! Seriously, if something has been placed on your heart to do, do it. Don't worry about what people may think, especially friends & family. Follow your dream, be it big or small. There is so much free information out there & you can & will do it. The market isn't oversaturated. So do it! I look forward to seeing your business on my timeline one day!
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Some people have a misconception of what 'SayNoToFloozies' is. It is more than a saying. It represents your power to have control over your life. Anything you don't want to have access to? 'SayNoTo…' Also, times won't always be hard. Find the lesson in everything!
