Interested in starting your own entrepreneurial journey in health and wellness but unsure what to expect? Then read up on our interview with Madeleine Harmath, Founder of Saving Grace Healing Service, located in Menlo Park, CA, USA.
What's your business, and who are your customers?
We offer Spiritual (Reiki) Healing that helps our clients let go of their trauma in order to live a happier, healthier, and more abundant life. My clients are people that are seeking a permanent solution for their emotional and/or physical trauma.
Tell us about yourself
Fifteen years ago, I experienced a very profound spiritual awakening that changed the course of my life forever. I was suddenly intrigued by all things spiritual and found myself on a path filled with synchronicities and enlightenment. With the help of two spiritual mentors, I came to understand that I was a very powerful spiritual healer and teacher. Within three years, I became a certified Advanced Spiritual Healer, Reiki Master, Motoki Master, and Advanced Spiritual Teacher. It is as though everything just fell into place just as it was supposed to.
I went from being a successful Engineering Manager to an Advanced Spiritual Healer & Teacher. Quite the leap for everyone around me. However, for me, it was a natural transition. In the engineering world, I worked with energy that was utilized by hardware and software. In the spiritual world, I work with energy that is utilized through the power of intention. As rewarding as the engineering world is, the world of Spiritual Healing is FAR more rewarding. I am grateful that I have the ability to help others let go of the trauma that prevents them from truly enjoying their life and all that it has to offer.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
In the past year, I have doubled the number of students who have graduated from the Timeless Reiki Certification Program.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
Continuously seeking new clients. Generally, my clients only require my services for a handful of sessions in order to heal their trauma, which means that I am constantly looking for new clients.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Research the industry, and understand the needs of the client.
- Work for someone in the industry to gain knowledge and wisdom.
- Find a mentor to help you start your business.
Is there anything else you'd like to share?
I love what I do!!! :)
