What's your business, and who are your customers?

Sassy Cuisine's nutrition coaching and chef service helps people who are tired of living with unresolved symptoms and want to live uninterrupted by using food and lifestyle coaching to teach and empower people who have reached a dead end with the traditional medical approach.

Tell us about yourself

I was anxious and depressed, and my hair started falling out. After realizing doctors didn't have the answers, I turned to nutritional therapy for help. Learning how to support my body with food and lifestyle was life-changing, and I want to share this knowledge with others!

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Helping my client heal his body from cancer. It's so rewarding knowing I'm helping him have more quality time with his family.

What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?

Managing work-life balance. You always want to give more, and you need to find time to recharge.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

Support system, mentorship, and just do it! At the end of the day, it really does take a village. I think growing your support system, and professional network is a huge piece of the puzzle. Mentorship can help take a lot of guesswork out of the equation. And those of us perfectionists can sometimes wait too long to have everything just right before jumping in and getting started.
