What's your business, and who are your customers?

SAJMedia is a web design and marketing agency based out of Sioux Falls. We create marketing solutions to help service businesses grow while saving business owners time and stress. Our target markets are local service businesses, and we specialize in helping Upper Cervical Chiropractic and Holistic Dentistry.

Tell us about yourself

I got into the business because I've always wanted to build something I can pass on to my children. I can't really do that with something I don't own. I saw service business owners not being distracted and stressed with marketing so they could serve their clients at a high level. And I had the skills to help them.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

One of the main struggles for me is making sure to manage my time so that other areas of my life don't struggle. If I'm careful, I can easily get carried away and forget I have other areas of life because I sincerely enjoy it.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. It's going to take longer than you think, so plan for the long hall.
  2. Serve your customers well, and the rest will take care of it itself.
  3. Remember why you start your business in the first place. When it gets complicated down the road, you can always strip it down to that foundation. Then it's easier to address the completed situations from that place of familiarity.
