What's your business, and who are your customers?
Rooted Unity and Rainbow Earth Medicine weave together, creating a network of holistic healing called Multidimensional Nature Therapy. My nature-centered style infuses systemic therapy and hypnotherapy with Eastern and Western energetic and somatic practices. The Earth supports the therapeutic process with Rainbow Earth Medicine's handcrafted herbal remedies. Our clients are mothers, children, artists, intuitives, diverse and multidimensional beings who have survived adversity and trauma and desire to feel regulated, empowered, and connected.
Tell us about yourself
I began my career journey studying community health and preventative medicine and then homed in on therapy and counseling in graduate school. I received my license in relational therapy while attaining certifications in the practices I was immersed in, like hypnotherapy, yoga, meditation, Reiki, and clairvoyance. My will and passion for discovering my truth, and the truth of what happened to me in childhood, was the initial fire fueling my quest. During this time, I was moving through many deaths and unsafe circumstances while navigating my personal healing and developing my craft. These overlapping layers were growing and birthing me, as well as teaching me to welcome death and decay. In this process, I was deeply connected with Earth and found attachment, meaning, and clarity in the nature surrounding me.
Over the course of a brief sabbatical, I spent much time resting, integrating these elements. And then, Multidimensional Nature Therapy was born. Currently, I am remembering my ancestral and childlike knowing and expanding my practice to offer plant medicine through herbalism. My work centers around the quantum weaving and balancing of the psyche, somatic and etheric bodies, so my clients can attune with the resonance of healing and Earth. I desire for all beings to remember their nature, author their realities, and create with their gifts. I know it's possible and want to share this liberation with others.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
My biggest accomplishment as a business owner is growing and evolving within and without, above and below, as nature does, flowing through the life and death cycle so I may continue to expand my services and offerings.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
One of the main challenges is embracing how to be a really amazing boss to myself. I have had to learn what I need as an employee of myself. By deconstructing indoctrinated and colonized programs- and regulating my nervous system- my relationship with being a business owner has greatly improved.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Congratulate yourself for stepping into your creative offering! And really acknowledge the strength, authenticity, and bravery it takes to author your life.
- It is okay not to know what you're doing and allow the process to unfold. You'll make mistakes, and it's natural! It is okay to allow yourself to be guided by your intuition and heart. Make discerning decisions from this centered and grounded place, and you will be unstoppable.
- Keep evolving. Remember, your business is an extension of your creative energy and what you wish to gift to the world. So, how you energetically flow matters, how you love and care for yourself matters, and the beliefs you hold will determine the magnetism of your work.
