What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a lifestyle platform for people 50 and above. We provide personalised guidance and support to people looking to be the best in the stage of their life. Support includes a global community of peers, advice for career, entrepreneurship, retirement, nutrition, well-being, and job opportunities curated for mature professionals.

Tell us about yourself

I am 61 years old and a co-founder of a California tech company. I am passionate about people living their best lives regardless of their age. Formally, I was an HR executive working across the globe for 30 years. Having your own company gives you a stronger sense of purpose and meaning in your life.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

Getting the business established and operating to the extent that investors are now investing and we can hire employees.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

The hardest thing as a business owner is the daily ups and downs while maintaining the belief that you and others will succeed (eventually).

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

  1. Do your research, and know your market.
  2. Partner with people who have complementary skills and know-how of business works.
  3. Take advice from others, but always bear in mind that everyone will have an opinion, so be very clear about your own USP.
