What's your business, and who are your customers?

We are a full-service marketing company with specific expertise in digital marketing campaigns. Our customers are primarily multi-location or franchise businesses operating throughout North America.

Tell us about yourself

I first started the business as an advertising design business back in 1998. As digital marketing evolved, our business grew with a focus on maximizing our client's results through digital marketing. Each day our team is motivated by client success; happy clients mean a happy team and a positive work environment.

What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?

My biggest accomplishment is assembling a great group of people, each with their own skills, to form a tight-knit team that thrives within a positive culture to serve each other and our clients.

What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?

Finding the right people. When hiring, it can be difficult to get a read on a person from a few interviews, but focusing on who they are as people and how they will fit within your team - not just on their experience and abilities - goes a long way to building a positive team culture.

What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?

You don't have to be the best. In marketing, most agencies are good at what they do. Instead, focus on customer service, as that is what will set you apart.
Find the right people. People that bring expertise that you don't have, with a positive personality and good work ethic. They'll bring you farther than you could ever go on your own.
Create a positive team culture. Investing in team events, incentives, etc., create a positive work environment in which your team can succeed.
