New York Center for Integrative Medicine, we see patients feeling all kinds of health-related challenges in New York City and Stamford, CT, and the surrounding areas.
Tell us about yourself
Our Integrative Medicine Center is born out of what I and my colleagues always wanted in a healthcare setting - one clinic that can take a comprehensive, holistic view of our health goals. For me, I got started in Naturopathic Medicine because it helped me on my own health journey years ago.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
Building a great team and the clinic being profitable within the first month.
What's one of the hardest things that come with being a business owner?
You're always "on." There's really no such thing as time off, but that comes with the reward of always working on something worth working on. Something enduring and meaningful.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- Don't do it all yourself. Hire help. Hire experts in their fields to multiply your efforts.
- Set good boundaries, and take care of yourself so that your business can thrive.
- Know that quality growth takes time and attention. Don't expect overnight success.
