What's your business, and who are your customers?
Lezar3D is a 3D printing business that specializes in creating custom 3D prints for customers. We offer a variety of services, such as 3D printing, 3D scanning, 3D modeling, and 3D design. Our services are used by individuals, businesses, and organizations that need to create 3D models for a variety of purposes, including prototyping, product design, prototyping, and more. The cost of our services varies depending on the complexity of the project, but we typically offer competitive rates. We are more concentrated on B to B, but we also serve inventors and amateurs.
Tell us about yourself
Coming totally from another world, I discovered 3D printing when I was looking for something in the bike industry. The possibilities that give 3D printing got my attention and from there started Lezar3D.
What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner?
I think it is cumulative of all projects, which makes an accomplishment. The fact that we have never been afraid to take a risk and go for a challenging contract not for the money but for the pleasure of completing it. One of our first accomplishments was the structure for the lamp and the 2M drone frame in our second year, which started the craziness.
What's one of the hardest things that comes with being a business owner?
Stop thinking and take off. This is hard as you always have something to do. So you have to manage your time besides business. It can be hard for some of us.
What are the top tips you'd give to anyone looking to start, run and grow a business today?
- GO FOR IT! - don't wait to have this to do that, and know this and that, and read 100 books before starting. As Nike says, JUST DO IT. Start small, learn as you go, and business is all about adaptation. There is no unique way to grow a business. There is no perfect recipe for spaghetti, and there is not just one.
- Be ready to be afraid, to fail, and to lose in many ways. And if you don't, write a book about it as you will be the first. This is the price to get far. The more you will fail, the better you'll become. Less you will be afraid, and risk will become just another day.
- Concentrate on getting profit from what you sell or offer as a service. Subvention and loan, and price are ephemeral. You will be invited to apply for a prize as the business of the year, start and other Sh(!)t like this. Don't fall into that trap. I have seen too many people get more focus on the vibe they get around them with their announcements and speeches. That is a wannabe businessman show. Focus on developing your product and or service. It will take longer, but it will be a stronger brand.
